Inner Strength for every situation

Inner Strength in every situation

We will all experience some form of suffering in this life. The hope for Christians is that we will be helped and strengthened to survive by the Holy Spirit. For those who are in Christ, heartache, suffering, and even death are all temporary.

"In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation." ‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭5:10

God promises to restore us, support us and strengthen us.

"I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength." Philippians 4:12-13
The verses above were written by Paul in reference to his time in prison for preaching the word of God. God provided him the resilience and inner strength he needed to go through this difficult time in his life.

Similarly, we can remain content in any situation because our inner strength comes from the living God. We can thrive in both abundance and scarcity, with little food and resources, as well as plenty of food and resources.
"But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint."  Isaiah 40:31
When we place our trust and hope in God, we will always have the power and resources to share the good news of Jesus with others, because God provides us with the ability to do God's work regardless of our circumstances.

We can thrive in every season of life and accomplish everything that God requires of us because of the inner strength that God provides. God provides us the strength we need to endure different situations and complete the purpose He has given us. This means we will never be short of resources to live a flourishing and virtuous life or to share the good news of Jesus with others.

If you're going through a season of excess or a season of scarcity, remember that God is the one who provides you the power to get through it all. If you find yourself in a difficult position, pray to God for the inner strength that only He can provide.
"Search for the Lord and for his strength; continually seek him." 1 Chronicles 16:11
So, no matter how difficult, dreadful, or heartbreaking your current situation is, you may hold to this future reality. While suffering cannot be avoided, you can be assured that its days are numbered and that God will give you inner strength to endure it.
"I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world." John 16:33
