Statement of Faith
Welcome to my journey. My faith is the foundation of everything I write. This statement outlines the core biblical truths that guide my life and this blog.
1. The Holy Scriptures
I believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the lamp unto my feet and the ultimate source of truth for Christian living and purpose. (2 Timothy 3:16)
2. The Triune God
I believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator of all things, holy, loving, and just.
3. Jesus Christ
I believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, and His miracles. I believe He died on the cross as a perfect sacrifice for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, and ascended to the right hand of the Father.
4. Salvation by Grace
I believe that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. No amount of material success or good works can fill the "God-shaped emptiness" in our hearts; only the redeeming blood of Jesus can restore our relationship with the Father. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
5. The Holy Spirit
I believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, who indwells every believer. He is our Comforter, Teacher, and Guide, daily molding us into the likeness of Christ and empowering us to live out our divine purpose.
6. Our Eternal Hope: The New Creation
I believe that this world is not our final home. My ultimate hope is anchored in the promise of the New Heaven and the New Earth. I believe in the bodily resurrection of the saved and the glorious future where we will dwell eternally in God’s presence, fully restored in His likeness, free from sin, sorrow, and pain. (Revelation 21:1-4)
7. The Great Commission
I believe that every believer is called to be an ambassador for the Kingdom of God. Our purpose is to reflect His love, share the Gospel, and use our unique gifts to serve others until the day of His return.
8. Divine Purpose and Calling
I believe that every human life is a deliberate creation of God, fashioned with intentionality and "good works" prepared in advance (Ephesians 2:10). I believe that our primary purpose is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. I reject the idea that life is a series of random events or that our worth is tied to material success. Instead, I believe our true calling is found in:
Transformation: Being daily renewed in the mind and molded into the image of Christ.
Vocation: Using our unique talents—whether in our homes, workplaces, or communities—as a means of worship and service to the King.
Eternal Perspective: Living every moment with the understanding that we are "spiritual beings" whose current work has an eternal impact.
Our purpose is not merely to "succeed" in this life, but to live in a way that points others toward the hope of the world to come.
